Sections and blocks

Every section and block in Touchmark, with its name as the theme editor shows it, what it is for, where it can go and all of its settings.

Sections are the full-width rows of a page. Add one with Add section in the editor sidebar. Blocks are the parts inside a section. Add one with Add block under the section. Sections marked any theme block take every block in Blocks; others take only their own blocks, listed with them.

Blocks that show product data, such as Supplement Facts or Lab results (product), need that data on the product. Product data setup explains each one, starting with a setup that needs only the Shopify admin. Until the data is there, the block shows nothing to shoppers, and the Product data notice in the theme editor says what it needs.

Sections

Grouped as the Add section picker groups them. Sections without a category come first in the picker.

Banners

Opening sections and large media.

Image banner

The opening banner: an image beside the text, or a full-width image behind it, with heading, text, buttons, a rating line and a details row. An optional lab result tag on the image shows one measured value, such as the potency of a product's newest lab batch, and Show layout grid draws the 12-column layout grid behind the section on larger screens.

Rating

A product's star rating and review count from its rating metafields, then a short text. Nothing shows for a product without reviews.

Routine builder

Routine builder: shoppers pick products and sizes and add them all to the cart in one step. Products come from the section's product list, a collection, or all products. The summary shows the cost per day: Per day of use in both modes, each price divided by the days it lasts, capped at the next delivery for a subscribed line. Short lines are named beside that figure. The first unmatched subscription add shows Not added yet and asks for a fix or Add anyway. The selected variant's quantity limits set the smallest legal count; totals, supply and cart additions use that count.

Lab results

A list of tested batches beside the certificate of analysis of the chosen batch, with a batch code lookup. Batches come from Lab batch blocks, from the Lab batches metafield of the products you choose, or from the store's newest Lab batch entries. With more than three batches the list shows the three newest and a button that opens the rest, labelled with the count, such as 6 batches shown. A batch code typed into the lookup shows that batch's result card in the certificate's place: batch, product, test date, status, results and Open certificate. The certificate shows as a summary with the full certificate one tap away, or in full.

Product page

The sections of the product template.

Product details

Product details: the chapters under the buy box, such as Supplement Facts, Compliance disclaimer, Ingredients (product), How to take, Lab results (product), Reviews and FAQ (product). Each chapter reads the product's metaobject entry, else its own settings, which can connect to product fields, and hides when it has nothing. A chapter with one item shows as a row in one Specifications table, which also lists the product's category fields; when How to take is such a row, its safety note prints under the table. A product with none of this data, such as a shirt, gets a Specifications table of its category, type, vendor (when it differs from the store name) when it has two rows. Show category, type and vendor controls those rows; Include product options is off by default. A lone Specifications chapter has no number. In the theme editor, one Product data notice counts blocks with content, explains shared template text, and keeps next steps in a closed Show blocks disclosure.

A Shipping policy row prints the free shipping threshold from Theme settings > Cart under its heading while free shipping is on (Show free shipping threshold).
